JANUE garments are designed to adapt to the body rather than prescribe a fixed fit.
For tops, coats and other generously cut garments, size is largely a matter of preferred volume. Choose your usual size for the intended silhouette, size down for less volume, or size up for a more generous fit.
Trousers are more dependent on the waist. Most styles can be worn at different heights: choosing a smaller size will generally allow the trousers to sit higher on the waist, while a larger size can be worn lower on the hips.
Our sizing is not gender-specific. The same sizes are worn across women’s and men’s bodies, with the fit depending on the garment, the body and the way you choose to wear it.
There is no single correct way for a JANUE garment to fit. The clothes are designed to be positioned and worn in relation to your own body.
If you are in any doubt about sizing, please email or call us. We are happy to advise you personally.
